A refillable cartridge is a carbon copy of the original cartridges. These cartridges are able to refill again from large ink bottles. It is not necessary to replace the whole printer instead of this the cartridges are being filled again and again for printing purposes.

A cartridge is a component inside the printer where the ink is injected. You can print out your documents with the help of these refillable ink cartridges. As the refilling cost is lower than buying a new cartridge. Ink would be injected with the help of a syringe.

Process of Refilling the Ink Cartridges

The process of refilling the ink cartridges is simple. You just need to take out the cartridges and after refilling you can implant it again. Some printers have fixed cartridges instead of removable ones. Here is the complete process of refilling the ink cartridge:

Prepare Work Place

For injecting the ink first you need to prepare the work area. For this purpose prepare the ink solution which you have to inject in the cartridge. Place some useless towel or cloth that can soak the waste product. Use gloves.

Make a Hole in the Cartridge

If your printer is having a removable cartridge then you can remove it or refill it but some of the printers have fixed one. If your printer has a fixed cartridge you just need to make a hole in the cartridge.

To gain access you need to remove the plastic shell and use the drill or any other instrument for making holes in the cartridge. Some cartridges already have a hole in such cases you do not need to make another one.

Inject the Ink

Once you have made the opening now it's time to inject the ink. Before injecting the ink check the position of the hole properly. For injecting ink use a syringe which can easily be put inside the cartridge. Move the syringe to make sure that you are injecting ink in the right place.

If the bubbling start in the cartridge check whether it is full or has some other problem. If the cartridge is full then remove some ink so the printer can work easily.

Cover the Hole

After injecting the ink you need to cover the cartridge. For this purpose, you may have some proper kit. If you don't kit or any other thing you can cover it with tape.

Clean the Printer Head and Try It Out

The printer head is the place where the ink meets the paper. Make sure this area should be cleaned properly so that the print doesn't look bad or rough. For testing the working of the printer take a test print. If it looks uneven remove the cartridge and clean the head again.
